A Fairlawn Country Club Wedding makes my heart pound with excitement. I’m not sure if it’s because I grew up a few streets away, or if it’s because the outside architecture is a photographer’s dream! First, any venue that has it all right there is worth visiting when it comes to planning a wedding. They have a getting ready area, multiple spaces for ceremonies, a reception room big enough for *this* crowd, and an event staff who is always helpful! Second, let’s gush about the “aesthetic”. This country club has white pillars, manicured lawns, a terrace that overlooks the course, and one of the BEST sunset views in Fairlawn. This was also the first wedding I’ve seen tented on their grounds, and it was perfect for not only the couple but also the guests! That summer sun is beautiful but also a lot!

Moving on to the real reason you’re here: there is something about a big family wedding that gets me just as emotional, and the Seikel’s have it. They are one of those families everyone knows and that know (or are related to) everyone. Do you know what I mean? So capturing this day, and all their fun, felt as if going through my Facebook feed and getting to physically say hi to everyone I haven’t seen in years. They stayed connected with their Akron roots and even had a Swenson’s treat at the end of the night!

Hannah and Matt planned this entire country club wedding from Chicago, so I must also tip my hat to their patience and flexibility. Even though any headaches or challenging changes, they were truly a pleasure to work with! Their smiles and souls are genuine to the core and I get goosebumps every time I see Hannah’s charm on her bouquet for her perfect pup. May I be so bold to ask – can we just do it all over again for fun?! Please and thank you! // xo
