Capturing weddings is one thing, but capturing humans that connect with my own soul is an entirely unique purpose that I hope continues until I retire from this awesome career. This couple, from the moment I met them SOO LONG AGO, were products of my own spirit animals. Their casual, yet captivating, love engulfs me with every ounce of being. I mean – Alaina wore Birkenstocks and Zach had Budweiser suspenders (just like his dad and his brothers) for goodness sake. They had a sweet intimate ceremony with an insane reception full of dancing, cupcakes, and that beautiful Michigan sunset. It was one of those evenings that is just soo hard to describe in words – so I’m just going to drop one little note, and let you scroll on down for the goods!
Dear Zach and Alaina,
I cannot thank you enough for allowing me the honor of capturing the final Elias sibling wedding.
There truly are no words in my vocabulary that can describe your day effectively, so I think I’ll just take a second to thank you for being yourselves.
Thank you for being a force to be reckoned with.
A force filled with so much love and grace, humor and lightness, and exactly the right amount of presence in every moment you live.
It was an honor, a true true honor.
Alll my heart,
Marissa
