There are weddings that are beautiful, and then there are weddings that leave you smiling long after you’ve packed up your cameras. This incredible Gordon Green Wedding in Cleveland was exactly that—a celebration overflowing with energy, intentional design, and the kind of joy that reminds me why I love to document weddings.
First things first: Gordon Green was a vibe (insert those clapping hands emojis here). Domonique and Nick received my name from a longtime friend and co-lifeguard back in the day. After meeting them, and hearing about their vision, I can’t imagine their Cleveland wedding any differently. The soaring ceilings, versatile spaces, and modern industrial charm. The venue created endless opportunities for timeless snapshots while allowing this couple’s unique style to take center stage. Whether you’re planning a minimalist celebration or a wedding filled with bold color and dramatic floral installations, the space transforms beautifully.
The design nerd in me needs to mention how on point the florals were (Molly Taylor Co. always knows how to bring it!). And a huuuuge high-five to the BRIDE, because she created all of the paper products, including the linen signage!
Dom + Nick’s fully embraced this summer magic. The warm light poured through each location we visited. From the Cleveland Museum of Art to the Italian Cultural Gardens – their summer love created the dreamiest portraits. They completely soaked in every moment, and made the most of every second with their family and friends. (Belting out all the Natasha Bedingfield included 🙂 )
The energy never slowed down. Those family and friends? They LOVE HARD, and it shows. Happiness and spirit overflowed beginning with the outdoor Cocktail Hour, where the DJ shot alcohol from a water gun. The reception entrance and speeches had the room packed with guests celebrating wholeheartedly. These are the moments any candid wedding photographer will tell you they love most—the genuine laughter, spontaneous hugs, happy tears, and dance moves no one will ever forget. But that was all made possible because the energy was contagious, making every photograph feel alive with emotion.
