First and foremost, Nikki and Kevin’s Lakewood Country Club wedding transported everyone to the beautiful Italian coast. Italy is one of my favorite countries to visit! My family is from a small town by the heel of the boot, and I studied abroad there during college, taking multiple Italian courses. I still dream about the people, cobblestone streets, and the food! To walk into their wedding day felt as if I walked to Positano. Their florist incorporated real fruit into all of their centerpieces. Yes you read that correctly: real fruit, specifically lemons. Then add in a few brilliant Spode Blue Italian designs and we definitely weren’t in Kansas anymore.

Lakewood Country Club was a perfect backdrop for this setting. The ballroom combined with patio access that overlooks the grounds is the epitome of ambiance. Nikki and Kevin also had access to the golf course for wedding portraits and by golly did the green grass just exude pristine. This space intertwined perfectly with their Amalfi feel.

I cannot forget their cookie table, which made the smell of sugar course through the room, their cake (adorning the cutest pup), and the homemade limoncello guests were able to take home as a gift. They even had a Jenga set in lieu of a guest book and a cigar bar for later in the evening! It’s safe to say Nikki + Kevin’s day held all that famous wedding magic.

Lastly, and definitely not least, Nikki and Kevin are two of the sweetest souls you’ll ever meet. Their constant smile and positive attitude (in almost 100 degree heat!) led to a full day of memories! Witnessing their first look and the amount of love they have for one another fueled my heart.
