A springtime wedding at Firestone Country Club holds a very special place in my heart. Actually, all Akron, Ohio weddings do. First, the clouds come out and play a dance along the lake that feels like magic. Then, there is cool crisp cleanliness in the air that creates a sense of newness.

Francesca and Travis’ day held all this, with their own spin: in true wedding fashion. From the moment I saw them together in person I knew their connection was genuinely special. Their Cleveland engagement combined with an Akron wedding celebration at one of the core country clubs in the area glorifies their roots even more.

Plus, let’s be honest, every wedding – especially a springtime wedding – deserves Travis’ gold reception shoes, golf carts to ride around in, and a group of flower girls + ring bearers that bring extra light to their day.

To elaborate: my favorite part of this day was the families. The heartfelt fathers’ speeches (that had everyone in tears) the gripping hugs during the ceremony, a cookie table baked to perfection, and the explosive love that flooded every corner of Firestone Country Club and their day. Family was intertwined in every portion.

These two and their loved ones catapulted my 2022 wedding season into pure bliss.
