Kelly and Curt began planning their Akron wedding in 2019 after they were engaged at Firestone Country Club. When the pandemic hit, they postponed their day to 2021. The extra time allowed them to not only invite all their favorite people but also hone in on every beautiful detail of their wedding day. And let me tell you, it was glamorous!

With Kelly and Curt getting engaged at Firestone, we wanted to use as much of it during their wedding! The best part about Firestone’s golf course is how diverse each hole is. You’ll have access to a lake, manicured green hills, walkways, golf carts, and even a few fun bridges (ie: the bubble bridge is below and one of my favorites)! Luckily, Kelly + Curt even had access to a villa on the grounds to get ready in! And to make it more fun, those of you who enjoy golfing can even chat about playing a round of golf in the morning.

Similarly, the other details need to be noted. Their church ceremony (with one of my favorite priests) ended with a fun rose petal exit! The colorful florals, Curt’s amazing golf-tee boutonnière, Kelly’s grandmother on the flowers and in a photo by her seat, and the cookie table were all full of thoughtful sparkle and color! I must also mention the s’mores bar because it was incredible! They had marshmallows with their names printed on them, tons of chocolate, and even fire ready to roast! I know I missed a few other decorations that adorned the reception hall so go on and scroll to see them all!
