Akron Art Museum Wedding Ceremony, Akron, Ohio | Christina + Sam

Outdoor ceremonies rock my socks! My favorite reasoning for loving them, when the weather cooperates, is the sense of calm they bring. Granted, do not get me wrong, indoor ceremonies are beautiful as well. But, when it comes to fresh air and a cool Fall breeze, how can one ask for more?

For example, Christina and Sam’s (Part 1) Wedding day took place on the grounds of the Akron Art Museum. We did a small first look and some portraits at Munroe Falls Metro Parks (because of course we needed to include their Goldendoodles!). Afterward we made our way to the Museum, where Christina walked down a garden filled aisle in front of her guests. Not only was it a beautiful testament to the museum itself, but it also allowed everyone invited to watch her make her way to Sam, without having to strain their necks!

After her epic walk down the aisle, they did a special canvas painting. I’ve seen sand pouring, tree planting, candle lighting, and even floral arranging, but never have I ever seen this. I LOVED it! With the sounds of a String Quartet playing in the background, it was a beautiful way to create something together, to remember for years to come. Yes, I may or may not have had tears in my eyes!

Once the Ceremony ended they concluded the evening at Fleming’s in Akron for an intimate, yet delicious dinner. Cheers to you two – I cannot wait to photograph your big bash back at the Art Museum! Go on, scroll below to see more, and hug someone today my friends! // xo
