Yes this wedding was located in Cleveland, Ohio, but it was still a destination wedding. Lauren and Alex hail from the beautiful state of Seattle, and planned this entire Windows on the River soiree across an entire country! I think they deserve all the cookies for this feat!

When I first met them in Seattle, I was immediately at ease. These two own complimentary personalities. Both are incredibly gracious and kind hearted, and after capturing them a few times, I can say with ultimate confidence that they do so much for all those they love, without skipping a beat.

Next, when it came to their special day, we scheduled a First Look. Not only because it fit within their timeline but also because it adds a perfect sense of calm to the remainder of the day. As a result, after seeing one another, they were able to take a deep breath and relax. Yes, it is an untraditional route (which I love by the way), but they made it their own! It is always beautiful to watch a day unfold into exactly what my couples want! If there is anything I could scream from the rooftops to all my clients it is just that!

To top off this novel – if you’ve ever wanted to see some cool Cleveland spots you are reading the right post. Lauren and Alex utilized all Cleveland has to offer: those ‘This is CLE’ signs, brick alleyways with twinkle lights, the high-rise buildings and that gorgeous water, for instance! But in all, Windows on the River is a perfect venue for our Cleveland skyline! // xo
