September weddings at Barrington Golf Club are a beautiful thing. There is something about the crisp fall air tied with late summer sunshine that brings goosebumps on my arms. When you combine all of that with a marriage, well magic surely is swirling through the air! Alas, let’s not forget to mention Jenny & Mitch’s cat masks, awesome cake cutting, and one epic dance party all add to one heck of a memory! Yes, when I say cat masks I mean cat masks! The wedding planning of course was not the smoothest, thanks to the pandemic, but that didn’t stop the day from running without a hitch! Jenny and Mitch mentioned to me in their post-wedding questionnaire how wonderful it was to coordinate with vendors who valued what they did as a profession. Thoughtful, full responses that still helped them feel excited about their wedding (regardless of the postponement) went a long way. I mean, wedding planning alone can be daunting even without the pandemic. Jenny left some sage words of wisdom for you all:

“Everyone says “enjoy wedding planning”. Don’t feel like you have to. It’s a chore. The real gift to enjoy is the actual day and being with your spouse, friends, and family.”
