If the pandemic never occurred, these two would still be the strongest humans I know. Their wedding at Gervasi Vineyard changed four different times, and not only because of the 2020 crazy. With a family diagnosis of cancer, and having to schedule among chemo treatments and wedding plans, as well as both being in medical residency programs, I bow down to these two. The grace, positivity, and constant smile on their face since I met them has been unbreakable.
That started from the first time I met Maria. After sitting down for coffee and sharing some emotional relief, I knew the her heart was special. Then if there is anything this job allows me to conclude, I knew Maria’s soul was tied to someone good. And not to boast myself, but once you meet Dan, you know I am correct. These two are meant to be together, and are made from the same strong cloth.
Now, the wedding day? Well, it was the perfect example of how to celebrate during life’s challenges. It held true to the notion that good outweighs evil, and strength comes from not only determination and persistence, but also happiness. I know you want to keep scrolling to meet these two and their amazing magic! // xo Mariss
