It’s funny because I was on a consult call with an inquiring couple yesterday and the bride mentioned how one of my posts from THIS session that I’m about to share inspired her to watch the sunrise with her boyfriend! And then to make it even more magical, HE PROPOSED to her right there! WHAAAT? All the dang feels!

SO I figured what better post than to give these two a little love. Back story: These two are BOTH from Cinci but they met in DC! How crazy is that?! So yes, I traveled to DC to meet with Helen and Andrew for the first time. I was capturing their wedding that following Spring and wanted to make sure I met them in person before hand. This is my go-to reasoning for any engagement session *ESPECIALLY if you live somewhere that is not in Fairlawn, Ohio.* Let me come to you! Let me meet you and capture your love. That way we can both see how we work together!

So these two, again a theme here of making my beloved couples wake up at the crack of dawn (I’m so sorry!). But heck it’s worth it. We got up and the amount of people around us cut in half. So it’s just you two, and me hiding in the shadows, as you enjoy the sunrise. We walked through some of their favorite monuments (and mine!) and spent the morning just chatting away. I learned so much about their love that day, which made me even more excited to capture their wedding.
