I am PRETTY certain Leah and I are twins.
Haha yes, that is how I’m starting this blog post.
We are twins, orr at least sisters from the same weird form of life because WE BASICALLY enjoy all the same things. From yoga, to the same love of TV shows annnnd HP books to EVEN the SAME Ray-ban sunglasses. (Which I was reminded of when I ran into these two as they picked out their Christmas tree last weekend.) Either way, we are twins and there is no denying it … soooo moving on.
Leah and Patrick’s wedding day had me in TEARS.
Splotchy, red-eye, crying-in-my-car-at-the-end-of-the-night tears.
I am not sure what initially set me off, but the highest contender was probably the reading at the ceremony, It was from a book that started their entire relationship: Tuesdays with Morrie. The book that was left in a mailbox after a date and fits into their love story so seamlessly you want to ball your eyes out like a 15 year old girl in love.
But THEN – we went back to the spot Patrick proposed.
Just your “old-fashioned neighborhood corner store in the heart of Little Italy” – if you haven’t been to Murray Hill Market are you even someone that lives in Cleveland?
He popped the question over the delicious smell of fried goodness to dip in some amazing tomato sauce. And so yes, we took 10 minutes out of their wedding day so they could scarf down phenomenal food and reminisce about the question that started it alll!
But apart from crying those tears of heart-melting-emotion, there were plenty of moments that also had you crying those ugly-laughter tears.
Such as the goose. Haha you read that correctly: a goose. Just your average plastic-lawn-goose being the life of any reception party.
To a freaking gorgeous sunset overlooking the Flats.
To one of the best and most creatively wild bridal parties of my season 🙂
So cheers to my “sister twin” and her hubby! You two make such a beautiful pair, and I can’t wait to forever watch your love continue to grow!
