This is how the conversation went:
“Mariss, can we hike somewhere after I finish Step 1?”
“Sure Jen! Anywhere in particular?”
“I want to see a National Park!” 

Even though we have one in our own backyard, why not out west?
So we researched & booked the necessities.
My CF card quickly filled with more photos than any wedding.
We drove to the edge of Oregon and to the top of Washington, hiking well over our step goal.
Bottom line: it was an adventure with out-of-focus photos & lots of grainy editing!
