There is just something about a Gervasi Vineyard Wedding that holds a sense of magic to it. The grounds of this gorgeous venue stood as a a reception backdrop for Lauren + Jack’s unbelievably glamorous day, and before I get into the details let me paint a picture for you:

It’s summertime, June to be exact, and yes it’s hot, but you are excited. You are marrying the love of your life!! After getting ready with your closest friends you head to the church. It’s down the aisle you see the human you are choosing to spend the rest of your life with. Your nerves wash away and you lock eyes, knowing full well it’s the start of a beautiful next chapter.

It’s an invigorating feeling and Lauren and Jack showed it off so well! They made a hot, summer day feel like a Fall breeze, and boy do I love reliving their memories. Sprinkled through their wedding they had touches of their relationship. From Hugo (their pup) on the napkins, zillions of polaroids from the weekend, a custom made wine rack as a seating chart, to even an ode to when they first met: Chicago style hot dogs.

So back to this reception venue. Apart from the rows of vines themselves, the outdoor Pavilion is a Gervasi Vineyard Wedding signature space. It’s open walls make for an inviting area to not only enjoy your dinner, but also take a stroll down by the lake or through the vines of grapes during cocktail hour. The open air even creates a setting perfect for music, whether a band or acoustic.
