If you’ve ever wanted to get married in a castle this one is for you! Brigitte and Colton’s Landolls Castle Wedding in Mohican State Park felt like a real-life fairytale!

Firstly, castle or not, Mohican is such a tranquil area to tie the knot. The moment you drive onto the area you feel a wash of calm over you. There is just something about nature and the magic of Fall that truly puts my soul at ease!

Secondly, when I say it felt like a fairytale, I mean it felt like a fairytale. They got ready in the Landolls Castle, in one of the towers, and held their ceremony a few steps away on the grounds. They had draping flowers and twinkle lights above them as they recited their vows while guests tossed rose petals as they exited the aisle. Also, a fun fact: they entered the ceremony space from the front (vs the traditional walk up the aisle!). Brigitte’s dress (AND VEIL!) was the perfect design for a fairytale type of day, and the champagne overflowed!

Finally, their reception decor hit this Fall wedding out of the park! They used Tarot Cards as their table numbers, had a “Love you to the moon and back” cake topper, and my ultimate favorite: a Harry Potter quote etched in a glass frame! The tables had candles, tea lights, with even pumpkins and leaves to pull it all together.

The first time I met these two was during their engagement session. Brigitte’s bubbly laughter and Colton’s sense of humor made them the perfect fit. Plus, any couple who wants to brave the wind on a beach is in my book of favorites forever! I could squeeze the two of them forever! Cheers to this bliss! // xo
