Portage Country Club Wedding, Akron, Ohio | Brenna + Mike

This wedding began as all fairy tales do: with a once upon a time, on a crisp February morning.

We started with two lovebirds saying vows on the altar of Brenna’s childhood church. Then we moved to one gorgeous sunset for bridal portraits. And finally, the day ended with graceful speeches and a live band enhancing one heck of a good time.

But I’ll be honest, winter weddings in Ohio are always a hit or miss. Sometimes it rains, snows, or is 90 degrees and we don’t know why. Similarly, on this rare February weekend, Ohio provided a day where the weather was not only perfect, but the schedule also ran on time.

If I could define this perfect day to three words: family, love and faith come to mind. Each word sparkled as both families celebrated Brenna and Mike.
