Did you know Cleveland has an entire section of the city devoted to the Italian culture? There is a delicious food scene (from desserts to dinner) and nestled in the heart is a tiny church with a brick facade that overlooks the street. If you drive a bit further down the road you’ll run into the Cultural Gardens to immerse yourself even more. Lucia & Jack took full advantage of these two spots for their Little Italy Wedding.

Their day began and finished at the Tudor Arms Hotel right around the corner from Case Western and Little Italy. With it’s high ceilings, large windows, gold interiors, wooden accents, and giant staircases, everything screamed “European Vibes.” If you didn’t look outside to the Cleveland street below, you’d transport to an Italian Countryside Castle very quickly (just with a modern touch).

Their Ceremony, performed by a friend at Holy Rosary Church, was intimate and full of faith. We strolled down Little Italy for a few photo-ops. Then, made our way to the Italian Cultural Gardens for a backdrop of fountains, greenery and large stone balconies.

You could easily tell Lucia and Jack carry themselves with a passionate kindness. This came through in every person they chatted with, and every person involved with their day. Even their bridal party consisted of family and friends, all of whom were fiercely apart of their lives. It’s a rare thing, and I adored photographing it.

Also, never had I ever photographed a reception where a song played and it was mandatory that everyone took off a shoe! Just scroll on down to see what I mean 🙂 // xo
