Do you remember Emily & David? Because you should. I traveled to NYC to capture their engagement last year!

They need no introduction, so I’ll just say:
Emily & David have a mixture of NYC cool and that genuine Ohio kindhearted personality.
The moment we began chatting, I knew they would kick my candid butt!
All of my couples have that care-free nature inside them, but these two are candid-pros.
Just being together was enough & that made my job SO easy and SO fun!

The wedding was no different: their joy gave my camera one awesome work out!
Plus I’m a firm believer that the people you invite to celebrate say a ton about your love.
&& Emily & David had some of the best souls to stand by their side.

One of the things that made this reception beautiful was the decor!
With an all glass seating chart, twinkle lights and those simple greens you know I adore, Gervasi Vineyard was a perfect venue to house it all!
Thanks to an amazing band, the dance entrance for all their guests definitely was the best way begin celebrating!
They also had buckeyes and soft pretzels (YUP!!) to end the night!!

But if I’m being honest, it isn’t about the food or the decor.
It’s how all the love and warmth that I witnessed was unparalleled.
Bottom line: If you haven’t crossed paths with Emily or David, just know from the moment you do, you have a fierce friend.
